Netwalking is a brilliant way to combine fresh air, gentle exercise and quality business conversations. The concept really came into its own when it was difficult for business people to meet indoors, and it has remained popular ever since. This is a free event open to everyone. Synergy Netwalking plans “moves” for attendees, so you won’t find yourself stuck talking to the same person or group for the whole walk. Over the course of an hour, you’ll have the chance to speak with at least 12 different people, plus those you meet during the pre-walk open networking session. Schedule 10:30 – Meet outside the café in Mote Park for introductions and for attendees to purchase their drinks 10:50 – Pre-set moves distributed and explained 11:00 – Walk commences 12:00 – Walk ends and follow-up networking session in the café Practical Information Parking: £2 for 6 hours – all attendees are responsible for their own parking Food & Drinks: Attendees can bring their own or purchase food and drink in the café Toilets: Available next to the café, which is where we meet and finish the walk Dress Code: Warm and comfortable clothing suitable for the weather Distance: Approximately 2–4 miles, mostly gentle walking Come along for relaxed, structured networking in the great outdoors.
