Christmas is just around the corner and we're starting to feel very festive in the What's On office, we've got loads of exciting Christmas events coming up over the next month so keep an eye on our app!

We have just run our latest competition to win free entry to Leeds Castle for a whole year, for 2 adults and 3 children. We'd like to congratulate our winner Suze Joels on her prize, we hope you get lots of enjoyment out of it. To enter the competition all you needed to do was like out Instagram post, tag a friend and download our app, all the entrants were entered into a prize draw and Suze was the name that was chosen to win this fantastic prize worth over £100.

We will be running many more competitions like this in the near future so make sure to check our socials, website and app to make sure you don't miss out!

We'd also like to give a HUGE thank you to Leeds Castle for supplying us with the tickets and for their continued support. Leeds Castle is a fantastic attraction with so much to offer at their beautiful 19th century castle such as; the stunning 500 acre gardens, birds of prey displays, a dog-collar exhibition, 2 children's playgrounds, an exciting maze with an underground grotto, a golf course and much more!

November has also seen two important events in our calendar, Bonfire Night and Remembrance Day. Bonfire Night saw lots of fireworks displays, and Guy Fawkes events all across the county, and Remembrance Day saw plenty of parades, charity events and of course two-minute silences. The Royal British Legion Industries have done a great job at collecting money to help veterans, the jobless and the disabled through the remembrance period.

We're happy to announce that we have now got partnerships both Made in Kent Radio & Juice Talks Radio where we've been providing them with events for their presenters to read out on air, you can tune in to listen to either on their respective websites, or apps which are available on both iPhone and Android. They both produce some really great content relating to Kent and the South East so we recommend you check them both out!

We have recently created a new category on our website & app, the "Christmas Markets & Events" category, we're adding plenty of events to it each and every day - there's so much going on this festive season!

Kenward Place are holding their Christmas Fayre on 26th November where you'll get the chance to meet Father Christmas at his festive grotto alongside his herd of fluffy alpacas and friendly goats, tickets are just £5 for children and free for adults!

Castlemas are holding a whole host of events at Tonbridge Castle across December, there really is something for everyone so check our app/website for more details.

Many of our other partners are also holding events over the Christmas period so make sure to look at; The Hythe Imperial Hotel, The Ridge Golf Club, The Spa Hotel, Chilston Park Hotel, Bredgar & Wormshill Light Railway, Maidstone Wind Symphony, Cyclopark, Drakes Cork & Cask & Betteshanger Country Park.

We're also very excited to announce that we have been nominated for two awards from the Maidstone & Medway Business Awards 2022; the "Innovation Award" & the "Creative Digital Award". We've made our way into the finals for each category and the winners are to be announced an presented on Wednesday 7th December, make sure to check our socials to see if we've won!

We will soon be introducing the ability to purchase tickets, and vouchers for Kent businesses on our app, we hope to have this fully implemented in the very-near future, and we believe this will make browsing the app even easier since you don't need to leave their profile to purchase tickets. We will also be allowing our partners the chance to sell tickets through us, so get in contact if this is of interest to you.

We also have plans to launch plenty of new special event promotions, as well as collaborations with our partners - we hope that these will add even more value to our app and will bring some really exciting ideas to the table. Our partners will be able to have their events featured on the radio soon for a small fee.

We are also soon going to be selling Quiz Trail books on our site so you can complete fun challenges whilst exploring Kent towns, with the goal of winning a cash prize.
