Our team had a great time attending the Kent County Show in the stunning surroundings of the Kent Showground for a celebration of the best in the county. It was great to have so many of you come and say hello and it was wonderful to get to explore the amazing animals, vintage vehicles and retail stands Kent has to offer.

The sun was shining, the sheep were behaving and we also had a high number of What’s on in Kent app downloads…so all in all, a brilliant time was had by all!

Audience continues to grow!

Word continues to spread about our app and website with more and more people using What’s On In Kent to find out what’s happening in their area. The app and website are continually delivering a record total of 25,000 - 30,000 page views per month, our best ever result!

Downloads of our app are also growing fast – we now have 7,367 users. We’re on track to reach 10,000 app downloads within a few months and as our audience grows, so does the potential for partner listings to reach more people looking for inspiration for things to do, see and experience here in Kent. Meanwhile we’re still investing in marketing to spread awareness of What’s On In Kent, and to improve the user experience of the app and website.

Christmas is coming…

We know that many of you have been working on your business plans for Christmas because you’ve been busily uploading events on What’s On In Kent aimed at Christmas events. Our first Christmas listing appeared in June!

It’s never too early to get your Christmas activities listed, and we expect that Christmas Events will become the most searched for category as we get closer to 25th December.

If you are holding any Halloween and Firework events too, then please remember to add these to your listing.

Don’t forget to add ‘Christmas’ into your set of keywords in the Partner portal, and if you’re not sure how to go about this then please call the What’s On In Kent office on 01622 477 778 and we’ll be happy to help.
