Welcome to the latest edition of the What’s On In Kent newsletter!

Spring is in the air, it’s getting warmer, the snowdrops are in flower, daffodils are poking through, and it’ll soon be lambing time – which means it’s time to for people to make plans for Mothers’ Day, Easter and the school holidays!

Partners – don’t forget to add your Mother’s Day and Easter events to your profile listings! Also, if you have any children friendly events then do add these. We are always having parents searching the What’s on in Kent App and website for inspiration and things to do with the kids.

Non-partners – let people find you when they’re looking for ideas for things to do and places to visit. You can list your business to our continually growing audience on What’s On In Kent from as little as £30 per month.

Networking with a Difference – Betteshanger Country Park

Our first B2B Networking with a Difference event of the year sees us make a welcome return to Betteshanger Country Park, and 46 businesses have already registered to attend. Last year’s attendees could have a go at archery and axe throwing, and our friends at Betteshanger promise to surprise us with another activity this year – which is why it’s called Networking with a Difference!

We’re delighted to announce that Gusbourne Estate Vineyard and Chapel Down Winery will be our sponsors for Networking with a Difference in 2025 – thank you to them both, we’re delighted to welcome such high calibre partners to be a permanent fixture this year.

At this event we will be mixing business with pleasure and inviting fellow petrol heads to bring along your pride and joy. Do you have a Custom, Classic, Sports or Super car? Or maybe a favourite bike? We often only get the chance to indulge at the weekend, so we thought we would provide the opportunity to network while having fun. There is a large gravel area, where you can park and display your vehicle while meeting fellow guests.

Buttercups Goat Sanctuary

Buttercups began in 1989 when Bob and Valerie Hitch decided to care for two unwanted goats. A few months later, the RSPCA approached them to take in another goat in urgent need, and this marked the beginning of a steady stream of goats arriving from around the county, many suffering from cruelty and neglect. By 2003, the number of goats in their care had grown so much that the sanctuary became a registered charity.
