Royal British Legion Industries

Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI) is a national charity supporting the Armed Forces, people with disabilities and people who are unemployed. We improve lives every day by inspiring those we help and supporting them to find work and lead independent lives.

On 6th November 2019 Her Majesty The Queen officially opened our new luxury state-of-the-art extra care facility, named after WW1 frontline nurse Edith Appleton. Appleton Lodge provides 15 luxurious suites, built to the highest specification ensuring we are able to provide the highest quality of care to our residents.

With more than 100 years experience in supporting veterans RBLI is well placed to offer support to Britain’s bravest. Divisions such as RBLI’s Lifeworks, an employment support programme, and RBLI living, which supports veterans housing needs in any circumstances, ensure we’re able to offer the best support and care for Veterans when they need it most.

We are always developing innovative ways to deliver social impact by helping people back into work, including supporting those outside of the Armed Forces. We provide support to people with disabilities along with others who are out of work, or those who need extra support to enable them stay in work.

Through RBLI living we offer a host of accommodation, welfare support and convalescent care to those with a connection to the Armed Forces or with a disability or health condition. Our facilities include purpose built nursing homes, including specialist Dementia care, supported living apartments and emergency accommodation for veterans.
