The Copper Rivet Distillery is an exciting and dynamic Medway based craft distillery. Drawing upon the area's rich tradition of innovation and craft, the team will toil together to produce small batches of exceptional gins, whiskies and vodkas from scratch in bespoke stills, with the same skill that local craftsmen once fashioned world-class ships.

We're the only spirit maker in Kent, and one of just a few in the UK that undertakes the complete process of brewing and distilling from grain to glass, ensuring our range of premium spirits is totally distinctive and unique.

Set in the historic and magnificent Victorian Pump House No. 5, our distillery is open for tours. Come meet the team to see how we make and produce our range of spirits, explore and see firsthand the distilling process in action, play and experiment with flavour profiling in our laboratory and sup and savour some of our spirits for yourselves.

Tours and Restaurant Experience

Book a Dockyard Gin or a Masthouse Whisky Distillery Tour & Tasting - tour one of the UK’s only multi-disciplinary farm to glass distilleries, a rare chance to experience the entire process of making vodka, gin, and whisky from grain to glass. Tours include a tasting of our crafted spirits and end with a complimentary drink in The Pumproom cocktail bar and restaurant.

Gin Tours are £20 per person and Whisky Tours are £25. They last approximately 1 hour, please bear this in mind if you choose to book a table at our restaurant below.

If you're looking for a experience unique to the South East, why not book our Whisky Blending Experience? A special experience for the whisky lover in your life. Distiller led, this experience involves creating your own bottle of cask strength Masthouse Whisky. Sure to impress your nearest and dearest! This experience lasts two hours and is £100 per person.
