The Monks Head

Newly refurbished and reopened on Friday, 8th August, this historic pub sits just off the main road into Maidstone, near the Morrisons Superstore in Larkfield. Dating back to around 1553, it’s brimming with character, featuring plentiful wooden beams and a grand inglenook fireplace. Just inside the door, stairs lead up to a dedicated darts area, while a step at the back takes you to the rear seating space. Turn right and you’ll find a corridor passing the toilets before leading outside. A few more steps bring you to the spacious garden, enclosed by a fence lined with warm lights. Here you can relax at the picnic tables, with a small shelter offering protection from the weather. Come along and enjoy the charm of your local pub.
