Harry Potter Halloween Afternoon Tea

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! Forget life as a Muggle this Halloween and come be a Wizard for the afternoon on Saturday 26th AND Sunday 27th October 2024 at Hempstead House Hotel and enjoy a traditional Halloween themed afternoon tea too!

We invite you into the Coach House from 1.30pm.

The beautiful owls from The Owl Academy will dazzle you with their flying show prior to the afternoon tea service in the Heritage Suite from 2pm.

While the adults get to enjoy our exquisite traditional afternoon tea to themselves, children will be served their very own themed tea. Dietary requirements will be catered for and must be highlighted in advance.

Which house will you belong to? Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff or Slytherin? Maybe you’ll have the chance to find out! Children can then enjoy their first day at Hogwarts as our very own Professor SamTastic stages a fun and exciting magical show from approximately 2.45pm.

The afternoon will end at approximately 3.45pm.

Guests will be seated on tables of ten. Private tables are only guaranteed for parties of 8 or more. Smaller bookings of 2+ are of course welcome and will be placed with other smaller parties to make up a table between 8 and 10.

The price for the afternoon is £35 per adult and £25 per child to include the afternoon tea and entertainment. A family of 2 adults and 2 children qualify for a £115 family ticket. Children not requiring catering (under 2) will be charged a £10 entry fee.

To confirm your booking, a £10 non-refundable deposit per person is required at time of booking. Final balance due 1 month prior. Payments can be made with card details over the phone or by bank transfer on request.

TRICK OR TREAT? Treat the whole family with an overnight stay where children stay for free when booking the Harry Potter event. Terms and conditions apply. Rates start from £205 double occupancy to include breakfast and spa access. Children swimming times apply.

Payments can be made with card details over the phone only or by bank transfer on request. Please note that as we have now returned to normality, all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Cancellations, either by individuals or as a group including reduced attendance, received 1 month prior to event will result in loss of deposits. All cancellations received within 1 month of the event will unfortunately result in a full cancellation charge. Guests are entitled to a full reimbursement should the hotel cancel the event unless the hotel is forced to close following government guidelines where a full credit voucher only will be issued. Any cancellations must be confirmed in writing.
