Millbrook Certificate in Gardening

Take your learning to the next level with our new Millbrook Certificate in Gardening with, bespoke gardener and RHS lecturer, Caroline Halfpenny. The course will run over 9 selected Thursday afternoons, starting 6th February, ending on 15th May.

Starting with the basics of horticulture, this 9 week course focuses on plant and soil science, where you will learn the science behind horticulture in an informal environment. Suitable for beginners who want to gain the foundations of horticulture and experienced gardeners hoping to understand the mechanics of plants and growing mediums.

With access to our huge range of plants at Millbrook, your plant knowledge will grow, enabling you to choose and care for your plants with confidence.  The Millbrook Certificate in Gardening is not a formally recognised qualification, but is facilitated by an RHS Lecturer and could be used as a stepping stone to move onto formal qualifications.

Led by Caroline Halfpenny, bespoke gardener and RHS lecturer, Caroline will share her horticultural knowledge and expertise. Classes are limited to 14 students to guarantee you receive the best teaching and advice.
