Let’s celebrate and show our appreciation for the men in our lives this Father’s Day!

This Father’s Day, on Sunday 15th June 2025, treat them to a visit to Hempstead House Hotel for their choice of either a traditional roast lunch or NEW for 2025, family carvery with live singer. A cold Beer for all dad’s is included too!

NEW FOR 2025 – “DAD’S HEAD CHEF!” with FAMILY CARVERY and LIVE SINGER What better way to celebrate Father’s Day than letting dad be in charge?! New for this year, we invite you into the Heritage Suite for a scrummy roast dinner with a difference! Presented with a Hempstead House Apron and Head Chef Hat, it’s time for dad to have fun and prove his carving skills as he carves the roast joint, right in front of your eyes. Then help yourselves to crunchy roast potatoes and unlimited vegetables served directly to your table. All guests in your party, including children, are to have the same roast joint, with your choice of beef, chicken or gammon. PLEASE NOTE: A vegetarian/vegan option is the only alternative available. Choice of starters, joint and desserts are to be pre-ordered in advance. ENTERTAINMENT INCLUDED TOO! We are delighted to welcome local singer/guitarist, Daniel McGuiness, for the afternoon who will entertain you while you dine with live music featuring songs throughout the decades. And what’s more, A FREE BEER will be chilled, waiting on dad’s arrival! Not sure we can pack much more into this special afternoon! Doors open from 1.00pm with lunch service at 1.30pm. Private tables, as per your party, are guaranteed for this event. A party of 4 is the minimum requirement for this option.

TRADITIONAL ROAST LUNCH Alternatively, tables are also available for a more traditional Sunday lunch in the elegant Lakes Restaurant between 12.30pm and 2.00pm, subject to availability.

PRICE Both options are charged at £39.50 per person and include a free beer for all dad’s. Children are charged at £20 per child to include unlimited soft drinks (juice or squash only). Children under 2 not dining are welcome at no charge. Lakes Sunday Lunch: A £10 deposit per person is required at the time of booking with the full balance to be settled on the day. Family Carvery: A £10 deposit per person is required at the time of booking with the full balance to be settled 1 month prior.

Payments can be made with card details over the phone only or by bank transfer on request. Please note that all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Cancellations, either by individuals or as a group including reduced attendance, received 1 month prior to event will result in loss of deposits. All cancellations received within 1 month of the event will unfortunately result in a full cancellation charge. Guests are entitled to a full reimbursement should the hotel cancel the event unless the hotel is forced to close following government guidelines where a full credit voucher only will be issued. Any cancellations must be confirmed in writing.
