New Year's Steam Up - Saturday 24th January 2026

anuary 2026 sees the return of the Bredgar New Year's Steam Up on Saturday 24th January. This event is very limited tickets.

The Engine Shed will be open for viewing, with Bill Best, the owner of the railway in conjunction with the railway's head Engineer, giving a tour and talk of the Engine Shed looking in detail at individual engines and some of the history.

The Steam locomotives will be on the line, providing passenger rides. The large model railway will be running and the train play table out for the children!

Due to the limited tickets, they are only available to buy online. Tickets will not be for sale on the gate. Adult £10 Child £5

In the event of extreme weather which requires the event to be cancelled, the event will be rescheduled. Tickets are non-refundable.
