Whitstable Farmers Market

OPEN FOR CLICK AND COLLECT Whitstable Farmers' Market opens on the second and fourth Saturday every month. There you can buy local and/or organic produce from within 30 miles of Whitstable (though most farmers are much closer). Products available include :- organic meat; by organic vegetables home baked cakes and pies; a range of artisan breads from a Whitstable bakery (using organically grown flour and grains); organic eggs free range and wild game meats; hand made chocolates; fruit juice cheese, (made just 4 miles away). beer, cider; also lots of seasonal plants, flowers, honey and occacional craft stalls We run a a Fair Trade cafe with all tea and coffee from Fair Trade sources run by volunteers plus locally hand made re-usable shopping bags with our own logo for sale. In addition we have Guest craft stalls, young musicians and environmental displays. We are aiming to go "PLASTIC BAG FREE" as a pilot for the whole town.
