Sissinghurst Castle Farmers Market


The Farmers’ Market at Sissinghurst Castle is held on the ‘Plain’, at the very heart of the ancient farm, and directly outside the entrance to the world famous National Trust gardens. Surrounded by the Elizabethan and Victorian buildings, visitors to the market can also enjoy the Granary Restaurant, Gift Shop, Garden Shop and 450 acres of farm and woodland. They have a range of stalls, including cheese, bread, fruit and vegetable, wines, cakes and bakes and preserves, plus local crafts. Enjoy seasonal, organically grown produce from the Sissinghurst Castle vegetable garden.

During the year there are many interesting events taking place at Sissinghurst Castle All markets which are open follow the Government's Guidelines to keep everyone safe.

Farmers Markets are defined as food outlets and as such are limited to stalls selling food Please conform to the Government's Social distancing rules. This includes a ONE WAY system, sanitiser stations and limits on number of persons entering the market at any one time. Please make sure social distancing is observed when queuing to enter the market and purchasing from stalls. Stallholders must wear masks as well as the shopping public. Stallholders are not permitted to offer 'tasters' Payments via card readers are preferred to cash
