St Cecilia Wind Symphony

St. Cecilia Wind Symphony (SCWS) brings together the finest wind, brass, and percussion musicians in Kent and the South-East.

Our goals are simple: we aim to achieve the highest musical standards possible while performing contemporary wind band music that captivates, excites, and inspires audiences and future generations of musicians whenever we take the stage.

We focus on performing original compositions for wind orchestra, bringing passion, innovation, and storytelling to each performance. Our goal is to evoke deep emotional responses through dramatic and theatrical narratives, creating unforgettable experiences that leave lasting memories and spark profound connections in the imagination.

We meet on an ad hoc, project-based schedule, typically performing three to four concerts a year. We invite you to join us in our mission to perform the finest and most captivating wind band repertoire.
