Howletts Wild Animal Park

Howletts Wild Animal Park was set up as a private zoo in 1957 by John Aspinall near Canterbury, Kent. In 1962 the House known as Howletts was being restored. A small cottage was inhabited by an employee. The animal collection was opened to the public in 1975.
