Kentish Lady to Allington Castle - Networking with a Difference

The Kentish Lady was kind enough to host our first-ever networking event in October last year, where we set sail from the Malta Inn, down to Allington Lock, and back again. This time, the evening started at 5.30pm when we met at The Archbishops Palace and boarded the Kentish Lady.

We were privileged to have an exclusive tour of Allington Castle where we had a guided tour of the castle's beautiful gardens, courtyards and also its impressive Great Hall. Allington Castle is possibly one of Kent's best-kept secrets.

The 13th-century medieval castle is nestled in 42 acres of beautiful gardens adjacent to the River Medway. The privately-owned estate with Italian gardens, lavender walk, parterres, courtyard & formal ponds, surrounded by a moat and fronted by two lakes is an incredible place to visit.
